In the first rounds Team South took on the East, London and NHC finishing second in the pool allowing them to progress to the semi final where they met a strong Scottish team who finished top of pool 2. The South performed brilliantly to beat Scotland 4 to 1 with Dan scoring a brilliant armlock technique for Ippon, this set up a rematch vrs London. Earlier in the day Team South defeated London 3 to 2, meaning this was going to be a great final with both teams in it to win. Team South rose to the occasion coming out victorious by 4 to 1, Dan put in a stellar performance scoring an amazing Lats Kata gurma for wazari against a strong opposition. A huge congratulations to Team South impressive performances all round !
