Class times and days at Westcroft Judo Club
Welcome to Westcroft Judo, please see class information below. All of our classes are bookable and payable half termly in advance. We are usually open in line with the London Borough of Sutton School term time.
Judo Tots (3 & 4 year olds)
These classes are designed to be a fun way of learning through play, helping children develop their key fundamental motor skills, such as, balance, agility, co-ordination & body control, along with developing listening & concentration skills.
Judo Kids (5-7 years)
These fast-paced all-action classes are purposely designed for this age group. We concentrate on fundamental judo moves, listening skills, co-ordination, body control, break falls, basic gymnastic movements and most importantly have FUN!
Juniors (8-11 years)
These classes are suitable for beginners and improvers or players moving up from the Judo Kids classes. The judo skills and techniques are more challenging and concentrate on throwing and grappling techniques. Players are offered opportunity for competitions and belt grading
Youth (12-17 years)
These classes are for suitable for beginners and improvers or players moving up from the Judo Juniors classes. The judo skills and techniques are more challenging and concentrate on throwing, grappling techniques and submission techniques, players are offered opportunity for competitions and belt grading.
Adults (16+ years)
These classes are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced players they concentrate on developing judo skills and techniques including throwing, grappling and submission. We are also able to offer access to belt grading and competition.

18:30 to 19:30: ages 8-13, Intermediate
19:30 to 20:30: ages 12-16, Intermediate / Advanced
20:30 to 21:30: ages 14+, Intermediate / Advanced
Tuesday
19:00 to 20:00: Women’s class, age 16+
20:00 to 21:00: Masters class, age 30+
Thursday
18:30 to 19:30: ages 8-13, Intermediate
19:30 to 20:30: ages 12-16, Intermediate / Advanced
20:30 to 21:30: ages 16+, Intermediate / Advanced
Friday
16:30 to 17:00: Judo Tots, Beginner
17:00 to 17:45: Judo Kids, Beginner
17:45 to 18:30: Juniors, Beginner / Intermediate
18:30 to 19:30: Youth, Beginner / Intermediate
19:30 to 21:00: ages 16+ / adults, Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced
Saturday
09:00 to 09:45: Judo Kids, Beginner
09:45 to 10:30: Juniors, Beginner / Intermediate
10:30 to 11:30: Youth, Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced
Club Training Fees
The club fees are payable in advance at the start of each half term, six times per year and are worked out by the number of weeks in each half term block.
Summer/ Easter camps, Randori League, grading fees and judo kits are all at additional cost.
Visitor policy
Westcroft Judo is a members club, where all players that train with us are licensed to and represent the club.

We do not accept Junior visitors. Judoka looking to join us may be offered a free trial session subject to availability.
Originally established at Westcroft leisure centre in 1996, we are a friendly welcoming club, providing judo coaching, training, grading and competition opportunities for all abilities from novice up to national and international standard, for boys and girls from age 3 upwards, men and women of all ages. Our dedicated and experienced coaches provide an excellent programme for all and are fully qualified, DBS checked, first aid trained and insured through the British Judo Association National Governing Body.New members are always welcome.
